Melissa Creech Designs is a woman-owned and run small business specializing in custom sewing and design. Our goal is to help you create spaces that invite all whom you welcome to come in, get comfortable and stay awhile. We believe life is better with pillows, especially beautifully unique pillows.

We love all the colors, patterns, and textures that distinctive accent pillows can add to our lives. With the abundance of fabric, mass-produced pillows, and custom pillow options available today, it can be overwhelming to select what is best suited to your space and your life. We enjoy consulting with our clients to select fabric and create decorative accent pillows for your spaces that are beautiful, functional, and personally meaningful.

Customer's Own Material (COM) Pillow Designs: We enjoy seeing the fabrics our customers select and welcome the opportunity to sew Customer’s Own Material (COM) pillows.

Customer's Own Material (COM) Home Furnishings Designs: If you're local to us, then whether it’s our fabric or yours, we can create stunning decorative home furnishings (bed skirts & bedding, seat cushions, re-covering/skirting dining chairs, & window treatments) just for you. 

Our Pillows & Fabrics
Designer accent pillows and throw pillows can add an easy, instant update to refresh your current look, provide just the right final addition to pull everything together, or be the inspiration you need to design an entire room. 

In our distinctive pillows, we utilize a wide selection of fabrics, including:

• high-end designer fabric
• intricate embroidered fabric
• luxurious tactile fabric (bouclé, chenille, velvet, etc.) 
• practical stain resistant performance fabric
• UV resistant, water repellant indoor outdoor fabric

Our History
In 2004, we began collaborating with clients to create custom pillows, bed skirts, seat covers/cushions, & draperies. For nearly 13 years, we sold our custom-made decorative and designer throw pillows locally through Aubrey Home, a lovely furniture and home décor design shop located in Greensboro, North Carolina. With the recent closing of Aubrey Home, we are thankful for the abundant Aubrey Home customer support, amazing Aubrey Home shop girls, and all the personal and business connections we made there.

Our Present & Future
Beginning in March 2025, our custom-made decorative and designer throw pillows will be available locally at Martin's Mercantile in Summerfield, North Carolina. Martin's Mercantile, which opened in late 2024, is the perfect place to soak in local charm, browse our pillows and a lovely collection of curated gifts, catch up with a friend, and even sign up for a hands-on workshop.  Learn more about our move to Martin's Mercantile and our collaboration with Lauren Cox.

As we expand our reach to offer our custom-made pillows at Martin's Mercantile and our hand-crafted, made-to-order pillows online, we look forward to sharing our expansive collection of beautiful throw pillows, along with our expertise in fabric selection and custom pillow design with you.
