Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

We do NOT offer returns, refunds, or exchanges.

All pieces are custom made-to-order and/or final sale items that are NOT eligible for return, refund, or exchange.

In-stock and custom throw pillows (whether purchased online or in-studio), pillow inserts, fabric, trims, drapery lining, cushion foam, throw blankets, and any other items sold on melissacreechdesigns.com or through our Greensboro studio are final sale items that are NOT eligible for return, refund, or exchange.

The following are final sale and NOT eligible for return, refund, or exchange:

• Online throw pillow cover orders
• Online pillow insert orders
• In-person throw pillow, pillow cover, fabric, trim, and pillow insert purchases
• Customize Our Pillow Designs pillows
• Custom Throw Pillows Made with Your Fabric or Ours
• Any pieces custom fabricated through Handcrafted Custom Home Furnishings Design Services (including throw pillows, duvet covers, bed skirts, bed runners, window treatments, recovering/skirting seat bottoms, and seat cushions, and any other items not listed) 

Please Get in Touch before placing your order with any questions you have regarding fabric selection, sizing, and/or design details.

• If you are unsure whether a pillow cover will work in your space, please order a fabric swatch to confirm you love it before placing an order for the pillow cover. 
• Requesting a color match is another way to confirm you love the color(s) before placing an order for the pillow cover.

·         When fabric samples aren't possible, color matching is a great alternative way to gauge the colors in our fabrics. Simply send us the pillow cover name and we can color match the fabric to the closest Sherwin-Williams paint color(s). Then you can order a free Sherwin-Williams paint sample. 

•  Our optional digital mockups use photos of your room to show you how your fabric selections and pillow arrangements will look, allowing you to preview and refine your choices before ordering.

Taking these steps before placing your order will ensure you are pleased with your pillow cover selections.

In-stock and custom throw pillows purchased in-person are final sale and NOT eligible for return, refund, or exchange.

• If you're unsure whether a pillow will work in your space, we encourage you to try our 24-Hour Approval which is exclusively available for clients shopping with us in-person at our Greensboro studio—a no-pressure way to try pillows at home before deciding. 24-Hour Approval is not available for online orders.

Online Order Cancellations & Changes After Submission

For online throw pillow orders: 
We do NOT accept order cancellations.
We do NOT accept changes to orders once they are submitted.

Once your online throw pillow order is placed, we may immediately begin cutting the material necessary for your order. Throw pillows in our online collection are custom cut and made-to-order.

For online pillow insert orders:
We do NOT accept order cancellations.
We do NOT accept changes to orders once they are submitted.

Once your online pillow insert order is placed, we may immediately place the order with our supplier or begin preparing your inserts for shipping—so changes or cancellations aren't possible after that point.

If you realize you’ve made a mistake, Get in Touch as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to accommodate changes if production hasn’t started.

Note: If you want to customize a throw pillow shown in our online collection (or in our in-studio collection) then your request is no longer a standard online order (or in-studio purchase); it is a custom throw pillow. You will receive a quote and a Client Agreement that includes Changes to Your Project Before Fabrication Begins section that details our cancellation and change policy for custom projects.

Craftmanship

Each pillow cover is handcrafted to your order specifications with the utmost consideration. Every detail is addressed with precision and the skills accumulated through years of custom sewing experience. We aim to create just the look and feel you want.

• Interior seams of pillow covers have a professionally finished serged edge.
• A high-quality invisible zipper is used for pillow closure.

Damaged Items

If a pillow cover or pillow insert is defective or damaged upon delivery, please Get in Touch immediately (within 24 hours of receiving your order) so we can work with you to replace or repair the item. No claims can be made after 24 hours of pickup or package delivery. 

When examining your pillow covers it is helpful to know and consider the nature of the fabric used in each pillow cover as some fabrics have natural characteristics that should not be considered imperfections.

• Linen fabrics wrinkle easily and have knots or slubs that occur randomly throughout the fabric. These characteristics are not “flaws” or deficiencies and are in fact valued as part of linen’s natural aesthetic appeal.

• Printed fabrics occasionally have random flecks and/or insignificant misprints.

• Embroidered fabrics might have slight irregularities due to the embroidering techniques used. They may also have small loose threads around the embroidery.

• Woven textiles often have minor anomalies inherent in them due to the use of natural fibers and the weaving techniques utilized.
